The Reverted Assets Administrative Unit (UABR), of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), will participate for the second time in Ironman 2023, an international sporting event that will bring together more than 1,500 athletes from different countries in Panama, reported the executive secretary of the UABR, Fernando Paniagua.

Paniagua expressed his satisfaction, by supporting the sports activity, which will generate estimated income for more than B/. 5.0 million, it shows that the Panamanian economy is in clear recovery.

The authority points out that the event promotes the country at the tourist level as a sports destination and it is a source of pride that part of the tour and the awards ceremony take place in the reverted areas, showing athletes, tourists and the world the exclusive views of the riverbanks of the Panama Canal. Ironman 70.3 will take place in Panama next March, and organized by Word Triathlon Corporation, including a series of races in which participants have to cover swimming, cycling and marathon.
