UABR issues order to proceed to repair perimeter fence

The order to proceed for the execution of the contract that will facilitate the cleaning, adaptation, repair and empowerment of the perimeter fence, located in the Clayton sector, announced by the Executive Secretary of the Administrative Unit of Reverted Assets (UABR), Fernando Paniagua.
He explained that the project aims to preserve the safety of the sector, maintain a protection barrier between residents and the fauna that inhabits the reverted areas, as part of the tasks of preservation and maintenance of assets under the administration of the UABR.
For a cost of B/. 223,883.61 began work on the perimeter fence, whose contract includes intervening 5,872 linear meters of fence founded with cyclone wire, and the execution of the work will be supervised by the institution's Department of Engineering and Architecture, Paniagua stressed.
More than 20 years have passed since this area reverted to Panamanian hands, it is the first time that maintenance work of this magnitude has been carried out, and that part of the objectives of the current administration is to preserve these assets at through the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance projects that benefit the residents and users of the reverted areas.
The completion of the project estimated within 60 business days, and the contracted company is responsible for leaving the areas clean and disposing of any waste resulting from the works, in a dump area, sanitary landfill or municipal landfill, Paniagua concluded.
